David was an outstanding and dedicated parishioner. Always ready to lend a helping hand to all. We will miss him more than we could ever write into words. May he rest in the peace and joy of eternal life.

Dear Mary Jo, Shirley & Nancy,
I'm sorry to hear about David's passing. He was a good friend and neighbor to our family. I will miss seeing him at church when I am home visiting. I have you all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Take Care. Les.

I knew David through all my years in the restaurant business. I would stop in the store to visit . We'd have a lot of laughs as he did have a great sense of humor. I am very sad to see that he has gone home to be with the Lord. To the Sorice family, please accept my condolences in the loss of your brother.

So very sorry to see that Dave passed away. I knew him from 10:30 mass. He was so kind and devoted. Such a great Catholic role model.

So sorry for your loss, I wish I could tell you in person but will be out of town this weekend. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. My words alone won't fill the void or ease the sorrow but I hope, collectively the prayers and love of others combined with a lifetime of happier memories will lighten the challenges your family will endure on the journey ahead. Take comfort in knowing that until you see your brother again he is in the warm embrace of the lord . . . waiting for everyone to join him.

Our family is deeply saddened by the sudden death of our dear friend. He joins "Grandma" Dorothy in heaven as we remember cherished moments spent with him celebrating our family, faith, and friendship. He was our adopted uncle, our dad's best friend, and our mom's adopted brother. We will greatly miss him and pray for his family during this time of loss.

David you could always make me laugh. I will always remember our run with the St. Hilary softball team in the 1980's. That was great group of men that was led by Bill Rush and you. My deepest sympathies to your sisters and their families. Your cousins, Charles, LeeAnn and Kathryn Sorice.

I was very fortunate to serve with Dave on the executive board of the Pittsburgh Diocesan Holy Name Society, where he was a past president. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.
